Tips for Surgical Mask and H1N1

Today, we were given a surgical mask in school to prevent infecting others or getting infected by H1N1. Teachers had been giving a lecture on how to wear the mask, however, the lecture was not clear enough. We didn't know the green part of the mask should be put outward, or inward. So, there's two 'clan's in the hall, one is with green colour outward, and another is with white colour outward.

After school, I googled it, and found some precious information. The real proper way to wear surgical mask is, white colour inside, green colour inside.

Here are the steps wearing surgical mask I found in another website.
1 Wash hands before putting on a mask, and before and after taking it off. Use soap to wash your hand for killing germs more effectively.
2 The surgical mask should fit snugly over the face.
3 The folds should face downward on the outside, with metallic strip uppermost.
4 Tie all the strings that keep the surgical mask in place or fix the rubber bands of the surgical mask round the ears properly.
5 The surgical mask should fully cover the nose, mouth as well as the chin.
6 The metallic strip part of the surgical mask should be moulded securely to the bridge of the nose and along both sides of the face beneath the eyes to prevent leakage.
7 Once in position, do not fiddle with your mask as you could transfer any contamination from your hands to your face.
8 Wash hands before and after touching the mask.
9 Always wash hands before and after taking off the mask.
10 When taking off the mask, avoid touching the outside of the mask as this part may be covered with germs.
11 Discard the surgical mask after use. Fold soiled part in or wrap in a plastic bag before putting into a rubbish bin with lid.
12 Replace the surgical mask immediately if it is damaged, wet or soiled.

After you proceed all the steps above, and you will roughly get something like that~~

If I am handsome, please give a comment.
If not, just ignore it.

For those who need some enquires and latest news about H1N1, go to Ministry of Health Malaysia H1N1 website. You can always keep up with mortality and infection case of Malaysia via there. According to the website given, the death rate are increased exponentially, and nearly every day there's a patient die of it. This is due to the ability of the vius spreading easily via contact surface and air. It can be transmitted to other swiftly, if the person that is infected of H1N1 go to the public setting. Therefore, those who suspected infected of H1N1, should stay in home and avoid get contact with others.

Through my search in google, I found a weird but informative fact. ''Avoiding masturbation and homosexual activities are among preventive measures one could take against Influenza A (H1N1), according to an eminent practitioner of complimentary therapy.''

However,
''normal sexual union between members of the opposite sex was absolutely safe.''

In conclusion, prevention is better than cure, we must do something to avoid it, not to solve it. Quarantine yourself once you find you are under the weather.

Hope this breakout of flu can be ceased as fast as possible:)
Gambateh to all the patient~~

In my school, H1N1 is only a joke. When you cough, sneeze, "Ah, H1N1. Go back home.... HAHAHAH!!!!" We don't take things seriously.
