Giant Hypermarket At Teluk Intan

GIANT hypermarket is now available in Teluk Intan, Perak. As its name describe, Giant is GIANT in size. It is actually easy to locate Giant, it is located near MacDonald and a restaurant.

See.. There's a lot of car, jamming along the road. I think they are more to heading toward Giant, than the restaurant.

To ensure the road-safety of customer, Giant employ some guard as doorkeeper.

MacDonald is bloody near with Giant. You can just walk there after shopping.

Irresponsible person abandon it.

Ice-cream! Ice-cream! Ice-cream is one of my favorite food:)

Whoa, ice-cream stall is along the road. It's succesfully attract a lot of customer, and also succeed leading traffic jam.

Get in..

Automated-door. I know kids like it very much, because they will deliberate move near it, then see the door opening.

Places for wholesale.

The lift impress me profoundly. It isn't designed like as others. Surface of lift is flat, so that customers are able to carry their trolley along.

Moreover, the surface are rough enough, to avoid customers from slipping.

Wahhhhhhh......... (I am a frog under the well..)

Change-room. Looks great, right?

A machine for pure water. It's first time Teluk Intan has this type of machine.

20sen for a liter, quite reasonable.. It helps for conserve the environment, as we can get water by refilling it with our existing bottle.

Steps of using the machine..

Put your item on it. After the guy in front finish purchasing his item, this panel will roll you item onward.

Once you purchase, and you wanna enter the market again, the guard will lock your item with a chain.. (Chain? I don't know how to call it, so just simply call it chain.)

Locking...

Even charcoal are sold here...

Alive Catfish.

Giant Pirated scientific calculator. It looks alike with Casio scientific calculator.

    "Irresponsible person abandon it."
This is very normal in Malaysia. Everyone knows that there will be someone collecting those trolley, Leave the job to others.

Btw, here in Kuching, hypermarkets are growing like mushrooms after a rain..... it's a norm down here. but don't feel bad for being a "katak di bawah tempurung", you're not the only one lah. I myself have to update a lot.... ;-)

although there's a lot hypermarket in a certain area, still many people shop there..

Trust me, none of these hyper marts in Kuching will survive within 9 years, maybe shorter. We prefer those types of shops where we get cheap stuffs. Those hyper marts were only there to adorn the city...
